Gregory B. Stanley CFP CSEC prior to entering the mortgage world was in financial services and a managing general agent for some of the largest insurance companies. Earning top production, persistency and quality awards not only in personal production but his insurance agency was consistently one of Canada’s largest producers.

He has written for ‘The Money Column’, and newspapers such as the Star, The Province, Sun, Elder Stateman, CMP trade magazine among others. He is a well respected expert in many things. He is a writer, sailor, artist, author, pilot, scuba diver, boater, motorcyclist, radio and TV guest speaker and national presenter/speaker for Pro-Seminars across Canada. Most favorite being a loving father and a good husband. Gregory was the first Certified Financial Planner – in Canada – to become duly licensed in the mortgage and financial services industry.

He founded, and was the managing director for the PWC Parents Who Care Society for 3 terms. This non-profit society provided financial solutions and guidance for young parents and single parents throughout the Province of British Columbia. A 7 year Volunteer providing goods for the homeless with  ‘Angels in Night’ annual charity event with Invis – Mortgage Brokers. Director for 2 terms on the board of the Cordova Bay Association, in Saanich BC that oversaw and lobbied for improving the local community plan and land use with local Council, provided input, and recommendations for or against developer’s submissions - in the prestigious, and beautiful Cordova Bay area – with both residential and commercial development. Was the founder, in  2002 of Cordova Bay Day, which is a community event held each year in June. As a licensed private pilot he volunteered flight time for  ‘Learn to Fly’ events in Victoria, BC, for teenagers interested in flying. Corporate sponsor for ‘The Kids Bike for Christmas’ charity event when held each year with Dominion Lending. Home n Work Mortgages is also a corporate golf charity event sponsor, each year, to raise funds for Young Lives of Canada.

He was one of the original first 50 founding mortgage agents/partners in Invis – one of Canada’s largest broker networks with its thousands of mortgage brokers.  Leaving this quality organization after 7 years, to become the founder of Home N Work Mortgages Inc. – which is now a well known Canadian Brokerage firm that has been named as one of the ‘Super Brokers’ by the Canadian Mortgage Professional national trade magazine that often publishes articles written by Gregory B. Stanley CFP CSEC.
